Fantastic end of school year for Leboy

I have recently received Leboy's third term report. Leboy has finished standard 3 fantastically well.

Have a look at the report yourself! As you can see, his final exam marks were nothing short of outstanding (except for computer skills, despite the master class I gave him last year). For some reason that I am still confirming with the school and/or his father, he missed some of the midterm examinations, which on the whole brought his average down. Despite this, he still managed to rank a whopping fourth. Imagine where he would be if he had sat those exams!

Leboy is now back in his home village enjoying a well-earned break. However, he will not forget to do some of the homework he has been assigned. Let us wish him all the best in 2012 as a new Standard 4 student. Well done, Leboy!

Staying strong

A new term has passed and the grades are in.
He ranked 6th this term, which is exactly what he ranked this time last year. However, the difference is that this year he only got one B instead of three. This suggests that many of his classmates are also hard workers, so Leboy has a big challenge ahead of him before he can reach number one.

On a different note, it is good to see that even though he got a B in computer class, computer classes are being held. I remember from my visit last year that there was a very well-supplied computer lab, but I know from my experiences teaching in the area that electricity is not always there. I commend the headmaster for all his efforts in this regard.
As always, we should be proud of Leboy, and if we can, encourage him to keep working hard and get that number 1!

Some pictures of Leboy

Laizer Runda, Leboy's father, sent me some pictures of Leboy wearing his traditional Masai clothes and his coveted PE kit. He's looking great!

3rd Grade, 3rd Place

Leboy's end of term report came in today, and he could not have started Standard 3 any better. Check it out! He got all As except in vocational skills, and he is currently ranked third in the class. His teachers seem to be very proud, just like me. Once again, Leboy has outdone himself and has shown that he is willing to fight for that first position. There is no doubt that Leboy will keep working hard to reach that goal. I'm sure he remembers that I promised him a trip to Europe if he managed to do that!

WELL DONE, LEBOY!
